Kaukasis: Olia Hercules launches book on the culinary delights of the Caucasus

16 August 2017

Last week Olia Hercules, the author of award-winning eastern European recipe book Mamushka, released her second title — Kaukasis The Cookbook: A culinary journey through Georgia, Azerbaijan & beyond.

Published by Octopus Books, Kaukasis sees the London-based Ukrainian chef turn her attention to Georgia and the wider Caucasus region, combining flavour-packed recipes with captivating food storytelling. Expect to discover how to make the perfect Georgian khachapuri and Armenian “cognac” profiteroles, to name just a couple.

If you can’t get enough of Kaukasis, book your ticket to Olia and KinoVino’s supper club and screening of Sergei Parajanov’s 1969 masterpiece The Colour of Pomegranates, taking place at Calvert 22 Space on 30 August.

You can purchase Kaukasis here.
