Alexander Burenkov is a Moscow-based curator, writer and art director, chief specialist of the Regional Development Directorate of the National Center for Contemporary Art (ROSIZO-NCCA) and program curator at ISSMAG gallery. He is a graduate of the St. Petersburg State University and the Institute for Contemporary Arts Moscow. He has previously worked as a curator at the V-A-C Foundation (2013-2016). Alexander’s field of research focuses on the young Russian art scene and international emergent art practices and trends.
