This summer, the experimental music festival Unsound presents Dislocation, a series of events in eastern Europe and Central Asia exploring the interaction and tension between “centre” and “periphery”.
Beginning last year, Dislocation is an ongoing project in cooperation with Goethe Institutes across the region.
Over the summer months, in the run-up to this year’s Unsound festival in Kraków, Poland, Dislocation will host events in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan:
Minsk, Belarus: 19 – 21 May
Almaty, Kazakhstan: 27 – 28 May
Murmansk, Russia: 25 – 26 August
Lviv, Ukraine: 1 – 2 September
Kazan, Russia: 8 – 9 September
Unsound Festival is an annual music festival that takes place in Kraków, Poland, centering on experimental and evolving forms of music and visual arts. This year’s festival will be held from 8 – 15 October.
