Portfolio: the urban romanticism of photographer Ira Chernova
New York-based, Moscow-born photographer Ira Chernova uses old Polaroid cameras to snap musicians, artists, other tattooed folk and the occasional cityscape. Working in both black and white, and colour, Chernova studied engineering at university where she also first started to take photographs. “I never really get into how I describe my style as a photographer,” she says. “It’s more up to people who follow my work to decide.”
