We can’t get enough of this prankster grandma from Volgograd

Georgy and Larisa have an unusual grandmother–grandson relationship, which involves constantly playing pranks on one another and posting the footage online.

Their videos are adorably funny and wholesome: watch as 20-year-old Georgy puts blue colouring in his babushka’s hair dye mix. It’s all fun and games until Larisa gets her revenge by sticking hair-removal wax on her grandson’s calves while he sleeps. She’s certainly one grandmother you wouldn’t want to mess with.

“I have always lived with jokes, pranks and a strong sense of humour,” the 79-year-old told The Calvert Journal. “I think that without them I wouldn’t look the way I do at my age, and I wouldn’t feel as young either.”

A retired chemical technologist and Soviet bureaucrat from Volgograd, it was her idea to start the account after hearing just how much bloggers earned. It wasn’t long before her grandson joined her. It’s clear from the video that the duo get on like a house on fire — inviting the occasional visit from the fire brigade. Oops!
